first trip to the Dallas Zoo
April 27, 2001 - Oma and Mommy took me to the zoo today. We had a picnic lunch and then walked around to see the animals. There were lots and lots of school kids there. I was more interested in the kids than the animals. The big animals were too far away - I didn't really care about them too much. The monkeys were fun to watch, though. My favorite part was the children's zoo. Mommy let me run around so I could chase chickens. I got to see fish, chickens, ponies, goats and rabbits...all up close. I even saw a pig do tricks! I really had fun. I hope I get to go back again someday.
