Easter Sunday - April 15, 2001

Easter Sunday was a beautiful, sunny day in McKinney.  After church, we helped Bethany with an Easter egg hunt in the backyard.  Lindsey's dad and step-mom were in town for the weekend and also helped.  Bethany was just the cutest in her Easter dress and hat; of course, she would only wear the hat outside, where there were enough distractions for her to forget that it was on her head.   She successful collected about 6 eggs in her bucket and had had enough.   You'll notice in one picture that she became more interested in the flowers than the eggs.  She had missed her morning nap due to church, and therefore was a little more testy than normal.   After a quick egg hunt, she went down for a nap......

Raytheon Easter Egg Hunt - April 7, 2001

Schuyler's work sponsored an Easter Egg hunt for employee's kids on Saturday morning.  The location was right down the road from us at the Heard Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary here in McKinney.  Bethany practiced for the big event and she was ready!   She was entered in the 1-2 age bracket.   Equipped with her bright pink Easter bucket, Schuyler could hardly hold her back at the starting line before the "race" began.  In the first picture, you'll find her and her Daddy at this end of the line; Schuyler is wearing a blue shirt and you can't miss her pink bucket.   While she didn't find the egg for the big prize, she did really well for just a little punkin.  In the last pictures, you see her "counting" and trying to eat her loot!  Uncle Will was also in town and joined us for the festivities.
