Happy Valentine's Day!  We're in the midst of yet another busy month, but not too crazy.  Grammy came for a visit the first week and brought the girls a new floor puzzle to play with.  So far, Bethany has only created a ramp/tunnel for her many cars and trucks. Go figure...  Caroline still loves Winnie the Pooh!  You should see her dance to the Pooh theme song.  Caroline and Bethany both like to play the piano with their Daddy. One morning, Bethany buiilt and "ark" for her animals.  Caroline is still a little monkey...she did this balancing act all on her own.

We had a WHITE Valentine's day in Dallas!  Schuyler had class that day and was out the door at 7, much to his chagrin...he would have much rather stayed home to play in the snow.  I wasn't feeling well, but still managed to bundle the rest of us up to go outside.  Caroline wasn't quite sure what to think of the cold, white stuff.  She did like saying, "Snow!", but didn't like to be out in it.  Hence, her not-so-happy face in one of the pictures.  Bethany, as you might have guessed, loved it!  Caroline and I soon came inside and watched Bethany through the window.  We did that several more times during the day.  Schuyler was home by 5 and there was still enough snow on the ground to play.  Caroline thought it wasn't so bad this time. She even tolerated a sled ride with Daddy.

Don't miss the comparison of the girls in identical snow gear! (Scroll down all the way to the bottom on the left of the Deja Vu page.)

Thursday, 2/19, was "R for Rodeo" Day for Bethany's class.  All week, they had been talking about cowboys, dressing up like cowboys, making vests and stick-horses - all leading up to the big event.  The rodeo included four activities...making a cowboy snack (trail mix), riding a horse (saddle on wheeled barrel), roping steers (hula-hoops and laundry baskets), and listening to a cowboy story by the fire (tissue paper and wood).  The kids had a blast!  Even little sister Caroline was in on the action.
